Sentinel Series

As Toybiz continues to release figures from the Marvel comics universe their choice of characters becomes more varied. This line is called the Sentinel Series, because each figure comes with a part of a build it yourself figure, a Sentinel almost 16 inches tall!

I'll give a little background to these figures, ever since the Spider-man Classics line began (and turned into the current Spider-man line) Toybiz have been making super articulated action figures. Most have over 30 joints and Toybiz have been putting more and more points on each figure. Now Toybiz seem to be trying to find a healthy balance between articulation and aesthetics.

It should be mentioned that Marvel Legends have a history of quality issues. Paint jobs can be spotty, and due to the complexity of these figures any mould defects affect the toy badly. With any ratchet joints, any mould problems affect the figure even more. While Marvel Legends figures are normally aright, you should be aware that the QA on these figures can be a gamble…
